Arguably one of the best games released this year so far, For Honor was released in February 2017 by Ubisoft Montreal and it featured very fast paced sword fights with brilliant graphics. The game scenes make for a beautiful overall experience and gameplay.

The game allows players to play the roles of historical forms of soldiers and warriors, including knights, samurai, and vikings within a medieval fantasy setting, controlled using a third-person perspective.

For Honor is available on both Xbox and PS platforms.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is a multiplayer-focused hack and slash developed by Torn Banner Studios as their first commercial title. The game is set in a fictional world resembling the Middle Ages and offers similar gameplay combat to the developer’s previously released Half-Life 2 mod, Age of Chivalry.

Combat is primarily melee, carried out from either a first person or third person perspective using medieval implements of war: swords, maces, longbows, and other weaponry of the time are used to hack, smash, and rain arrows down upon enemies.

This game was released in 2013 for all major gaming and computer platforms.

Mount & Blade is a single-player, action-oriented role-playing game without any fantasy elements, which takes place in a medieval land named Calradia. The game features a sandbox gameplay style, in which there is no storyline present. The player is able to join one of the five battling factions, fight as a mercenary, assume the role of an outlaw, or take a neutral side.

This game is is a medieval action role-playing game for Microsoft Windows, developed by the Turkish company TaleWorlds, and published by the Swedish company Paradox Interactive. Its retail version was released on September 16, 2008, in North America, and three days later in Europe.


Thief is a stealth video game developed by Eidos Montréal, published by Square Enix, and released in February 2014 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows video gaming platforms.

The game is set in ‘The City’, a dark fantasy world inspired by Victorian, Gothic, and steampunk aesthetics. Players control Garrett, a master thief who embarks on several missions focusing on stealing from the rich.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is a third-person action-adventure puzzle-platform video game developed and published by Ubisoft. First revealed in March 2003, it was released across Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 2, GameCube, Xbox and Microsoft Windows in November 2003.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is an action-adventure game where the player controls the main protagonist, an unnamed Prince from a kingdom in Persia. Environments are seen through a controllable third-person view. The camera’s view changes to different positions triggered by entering certain areas or performing actions.


Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag

In Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed hits the high seas, combining assassination missions with tense naval battles on an upgradable ship and lots of Caribbean exploration. This game comes highly recommended and was developed in 2013 by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U and Microsoft Windows.

The game features amazing visuals and breathtaking graphics and gameplay which all led to it winning the VGX Award for Best Action Adventure Game in 2014.

This game will keep you excited as you go on different pirate adventures in the Caribbean islands.
